About This Website

This website is about free-flying at Westbury. It is Wiltshire's best flying site. It is a public place and site of national interest. It is flown by Avon Club pilots and non-Avon Club pilots in a friendly and cosmopolitain atmosphere. The site has been kept open by the Avon Hg/Pg Club since 1972.

You can fly in wind directions from West through North to just short of Northeast. The site has a White Horse hill-figure and a hill-top Fort.
